LENS DIRT

Lens dirt refers to any foreign particles, smudges or imperfections on the lens glass that can degrade the image quality. These imperfections might manifest as spots, streaks or blurs in the final image, depending on their size, shape and location on the lens, especially as they interact with light sources in the scene. Adding some sort of lens dirt can, in some cases, contribute to enhance the realism of our compositions.
